Not Another Human in Sight

The date for this snowshoe adventure had been saved in our calendar for a few weeks so we were crossing our fingers for good weather. Fortunately, the finger crossing worked! We had an amazing day in Manning Park with a little sunshine, a little overcast, and even a little snowfall.

Even though this trail is pretty popular, somehow, we didn’t see anybody else on the trail all day. We did see plenty of animal tracks though… rabbits, deer, and maybe even a cougar or two!

Closer to the top of Fat Dog Trail, we trekked through fresh powder and enjoyed views of other mountains all around us. The number of mountain views is the reason why Manning Park is one of my favourite adventure areas in summer or winter.
