A Perfect Powder Day

It’s been two years since I’ve been skiing but a friend has offered us free passes and you just can’t… pass that up. We pick a date a month in advance and luck out with an absolutely perfect day. It dumped snow the night before but is clearing up to be sunny and blue.

Our friend starts me on a green run and keeps reminding me to french fry instead of pizza and I’m scared of gaining too much speed and my leg muscles are burning but it’s so much fun.

The mountain is crowded, waiting for the lift takes forever, and we only get a handful of runs in all day. Despite the crowds though, we enjoy the perfect weather, catching up, falling down, and taking a bunch of photos.
